Our current pair (Really Tricky and mate) seem to be doing well this week, and I’ve been watching them switch incubation about every hour. I haven’t had any issues with off-leash dogs. Ron spotted a Merlin in the parking lot on Monday, but we haven’t had any issues in the plover area.
A new male showed up at the Point on Friday. His bands are X,B:-,O. He was getting pushed around a lot by both the wind and other males so I wasn’t able to see numbers on his bands.
One of our regular males, X,B:Of,OG has not been seen in two days. It’s possible that he just moved with the arrival of a new male.
